Kabur Aja Dulu (from Behavior that Harms the Environment)

The hashtag phenomenon #KaburAjaDulu (runaway) has now become a trend on social media and a topic of conversation in society, #KaburAjaDulu is a form of protest injustice over government policies or decisions that make them restless. The expression #KaburAjaDulu brings the context of unanswered social, economic, and political issues that cause a lot of turmoil. In the era of social media where the flow of information can be obtained easily, as well as the significant influence of influencers or Key Opinion Leaders in conveying their ideas and experiences of studying or working abroad and comparing them with life in Indonesia, it is undeniable that it can influence the audience to move and start planning to live abroad.

#KaburAjaDulu began when young people felt restless with government policies related to burdensome tax burdens, corruption cases among officials, inadequate quality of education, and the difficulty of getting jobs for young people. In addition, ineffective government priority programs, to increase basic needs, put mental pressure on everyone. Not to mention the environmental crisis that is feared to worsen due to existing policies, also amplifying domestic pessimism. There is nothing wrong with those who decide to Run Away from Indonesia because everyone has their considerations. Likewise, for those who decide to stay in the country, of course, they have their reasons.

#KaburAjaDulu can be echoed positively, one of which is in the context of leaving bad habits and replacing them with good habits. A simple example that can be started by yourself, for example run away from the habit of throwing away garbage without sorting and changing it by sorting garbage before throwing it away. Coinciding with National Waste Care Day which is commemorated every February 21, Rumah Energi calls for run away from behavior that is detrimental to the environment and starting to behave well towards nature consistently. The Empowered Indonesia Movement initiated by Rumah Energi aims to support village communities in processing garbage or organic waste into blessings through renewable biogas energy, so that livestock waste that was previously polluted can be utilized and bring goodness.
