Rumah Energi in collaboration with Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Joint Body (JOB Tomori) in order to improve community welfare through the management of potential organic waste and the development of organic fertilizer with biogas technology Sumber Harjo Village, Moilong District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi.

Utilization of biogas pulp (bio-slurry) as a natural fertilizer. The activity initiated by JOB Tomori is the initial capital to break the chain of farmers’ involvement through independent fertilizer management and other derivative activities to improve the subsistence life of Sumber Harjo village community. As well as encouraging synergies and collaborative efforts of the parties to encourage the creation of productive economic zones through energy conservation and a sustainable environment. Referring to the potential development activities of bio-slurry carried out by Rumah Energi within the framework of the BIRU (Biogas Rumah) program, several options for developing productive family-based bio-slurry business activities that have been running and tested include the development of productive business selling bio-slurry as a fertilizer commodity (dry/liquid) and vermicomposting as raw materials for high-quality natural fertilizers.
